Motives and Greening Hunger, Bladder, Energy/Comfort, Hygene, Fun/Social
Keeping your motives green is one of the many fun challenges in The Sims Online. When "greening up" (getting your Sim in a good mood), most power players agree that you should go in this order:
Hunger Bladder Energy/Comfort Hygiene Social/Fun
You will want to eat first because that brings down the most motives (bladder and energy) Then you relieve your bladder before shower becuase it brings down hygene. but after using the "potty" you use the bed...then shower so you appear in your usual outfit and not your jammies. Then you take care of fun and social with a pool table or labtop, or even your dog. |

Simoleans Job objects are what you need to generate cold hard Simoleans so you can buy other objects to build and decorate your dream place.
Team Job Object payouts are based on your skill level for a specific station. The higher your skill for that station, the more Simoleans you will receive. Pay close attention to your skills and the skills of the other Sims playing to maximize everyone's payout.
The Solo job objects are just that, they only require you to engage your Sim with the object and let them rack in the Simoleans. Solo job objects include the Piテアata, Canning station, Telemarketing system, Gnome workbench, Easel, Typewriter, Chalkboard, and the Chemistry Set. The really cool thing about solo job objects is that if you get other Sims to work along side you on the same solo job object, up to 6 people, the more Simoleans you can earn. They also allow you to be more social with the other Sims on the lot.
Tomb Hunters of the Lost Llama The Tomb Hunters of the Lost Llama is a 2-person object that gives money to participants as well as the object owner. Rewards are based on skill of participants (logic and charisma), who use the object simultaneously.
The Logic player sees the maze but not the location of the Charisma player. The Charisma player sees an indication of which icon they are on and walls. They also have movement/arrow controls so they can move around the maze. The Charisma player describes what they see and the Logic player guides them through the maze to the "X" in the map.
Core Business Unit by PortoCorp The Core Business Unit is an expensive 3-person simultaneous-use job object, with 1 slot each for Body, Logic and Mechanical. Sims make Simoleans at the Core Business Unit by correctly guessing the 3-letter combination, getting all 3 letters in the correct sequence provides the players with a payout.
"Concessione DiPizza" Professional Kitchen The "Concessione DiPizza" Professional Kitchen is a 4-person simultaneous-use job object, with 2 slots for Cooking, 1 slot for Charisma and 1 slot for Body. The "Concessione DiPizza" Professional Kitchen is a stainless steel table, with 4 oven doors (one on each side) and an oven hatch opening in the center of the top of the table. The top of the table has 4 ingredient bins and 4 phones (1 for each slot). In addition, the top of the table displays the appropriate skill icons for each station.
Once all 4 slots are filled, a randomly selected Sim's phone rings, that Sim answers the phone, takes the order and then hangs up. Players select ingredients by clicking one of the trays. This ingredient will either "contribute" to a successful pizza or be "discarded." The Sims should call out what ingredients they have to determine if they can make a pizza. Sims keep the 2 ingredients they did not use this turn for the next pizza.
Once a Sim has selected their ingredient, the Sim will run through the appropriate "ingredient prep" animation. These animations are different for each ingredient type (but not size). All ingredient prep animations end with the Sim taking their wooden paddle, opening their own oven door, and sliding their ingredient into the oven. After all Sims take their turns, the result of the pizza-making effort rises up from the top of the oven (center of table). If they have created a successful pizza, but no bonus ingredient, then a pizza will popup in the middle of the table. But if they have a bonus ingredient (Anchovies, pepperoni or mushrooms) the pizza will have a star on top of it. If the Sims are unsuccessful, the pizza will be a burnt crisp.
Each type of ingredient is available in 3 sizes: Small, Medium and Large. The batch has more Smalls than Mediums and more Mediums than Larges. The bonus ingredients occur less frequently than their same-size counterparts. A successful pizza is one that contains dough, sauce, and cheese of the SAME size. A successful bonus pizza is a successful pizza containing dough, sauce and cheese that also includes a bonus ingredient (anchovies, mushrooms or pepperoni), all of the SAME size. Any other combination of ingredients is a failed pizza and will earn you /home/free/cgi-bin/util/sitebuilder.
"Rock 'n' Roadie" Portable Bandstand The "Rock 'n' Roadie" Portable Bandstand is a 4 - Sim job object. A randomly selected player (starter) gets "highlighted" and the backdrop displays a sequence of notes/colors/lights.
Player 1 chooses to enter the sequence by left clicking on coordinating color buttons. As soon as they do this they begin to play their instrument. If they enter the sequence incorrectly, the group's money resets. If they play it back correctly, the Sim plays their instrument, and then the turn passes clockwise to the next Sim, who has to play back the sequence.
If the last Sim enters it in correctly the Sims get paid based on collective skill of the group. Any Sim at the beginning of their turn can "cash out," meaning they can take the money that has been accumulated so far and start a new round. |
